Without any specific and steep fluctuations of its soil and ground the Island of Skiathos is venturous with olive trees pine trees, vines.
The scenic coasts of the Island (44 k.m Width) leeward, protected, with closed creeks and marinas offer a very clear sea with the green spreading everywhere.
The places of interest are: the voe of Skiathos to the west or which the homonym us town is built, that gathers the most of the Island’s population the voe of Ftelia, with Megali Ammos, the voe of Tzaneria with Kanapitsa, a typical Skiathian area , the voe of Platania with the hermitage of Agia Paraskevi and Troulos located to the west of it, the voe of Stofilia with the famous Koukounaries, the voe of Agia Eleni with the so-called monastery, the voe of Masndraki, the voe of Gournes, the voe of Megals Aselinos, the voe of Kechria, the voe of Megalos Gialos kai the voe of Xanemos.

To the north-east of the Island there is the unreachable site Kastro, which age ago, was the capital of Skiathos. The beach on the foot of Kastro is great, as well as the area of Lalaria, to the west of Kastro which is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Island.
The boat routes are made between Skiathos and Achladia, or Kapanitsa or Koukouranies or Banana or Kastro and Lalaria as well as the small island of Tsougria.
